Discover the essence of sherry-seasoned oak and its transformative effect on premium spirits.
A Sherry Cask is an oak barrel that has been previously used for the maturation of Sherry wines. During this period, the wood has been in prolonged contact with wine, absorbing aromatic and structural compounds that remain integrated in its staves.
The type of wine contained, the aging system employed and the time of use directly influence the state of the wood and the profile that cask will provide subsequently. Therefore, not all seasoned casks are equal, nor will they affect in the same way the spirit that later fills them.
We work within the historic Sherry wine triangle in Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda, with multiple locations in each town.
